Obituaries: we sadly inform you of the passing of: Howard 'Howie' Becker (1928-2023), a major figure in sociology and social science methodology, and Pierre Pluye (1962-2023), a leading mixed methods scholar, MethodsNET founding member and member of the MethodsNET Advisory Board. Both will continue to inspire us.
